Local providers now vaccinating children 6 months to 4 years of age

As of June 2022, the FDA authorized emergency use of Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines for the prevention of Covid-19 to include use in children 6 months of age to 4 years of age. View FDA news release here.

The Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine is administered as a two-dose primary series, one month apart, for individuals 6 months - 17 years of age. The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine is administered as a three-dose primary series for individuals 6 months - 4 years of age.
